Getting closer!

It's almost time, and boy are we getting ansy! There are 42 days until departure to be exact. So much to do, so little time to prep...and we still have to wait. The girls are getting excited about their upcoming promotions from elementary and middle school and having their Meme and Bum Bum visit (my parents). Everyone in the house has been sick during the past two weeks and I am the last to catch whatever it is they had.

I am currently learning Swahili and enjoying it. Although English is spoken in Kenya, I'm hoping to engage in conversations in Swahili with the locals. Nobody else wants to learn- they say they will depend on me. This should be interesting!
